Calling All Children of Naperville Settlers!

Writing Ruth by Lake and Prairie called for lots of research. Of course I needed to find out everything I could about 1831. I also looked backward to learn more about each family like their cultural heritage, places they lived, and their marriages, births and deaths.

But I also looked forward to learn about what happened to the families after 1831. I hoped that the settlers' descendants might have information that I couldn't find anywhere else. I was able to track down some of the great-great-great grandchildren of the original founders of Naperville, but I'm sure there are many more out there.

I'd like to invite all the children of the original families of Naper's Settlements to attend a virtual reunion. Just fill out the form below and you can join the party! We would love to hear old family stories and geographical histories, or make corrections to the family trees. If you have photos or documents to share, we can post those as well on the Settlers' Virtual Reunion Page.

I am posting invitations on Genealogy.com and similar websites for the following family names:

Joseph Naper David Babbitt PFW Peck Lyman Butterfield
John Naper Ira Carpenter Harry Boardman Selah Lanfear
John Murray Dexter Graves Holder Sisson Orrin Stevens
H. T. Wilson Mr. Bond Henry Babbitt
